Fashion Bridal Shoot | White Traditions Bridal House

I am excited to write this post and share this fashion bridal shoot with everyone! Working with Jessica of  White Traditions Bridal House in St. Charles, MO was a blast! Her gowns are simply stunning and a must-see for every bride-to-be. We were blessed to have three gorgeous girls model the bridal gowns and they were all knock-outs! This fashion bridal shoot was photographed in the downtown St. Charles area. We were blessed by the most amazing weather ever! I LOVE fall!!

We showcased six stunning gowns for White Traditions Bridal House plus some equally stunning accessory headpieces created by Sherrie Lovely of Couture Designs By Ice Green Eyes. A few unique furnishings were also borrowed from Worn Vintage Rentals on Second Street in St. Charles.

The Other Side of the Lens

It isn’t often you find me on the other side of the lens. As with most photographers, I prefer to be behind the camera instead of in front of the camera. However, we all need a new head shot or two every now and then and this requires us to venture to ‘the other side of the lens.’

I’m blessed with having some awesome friends who are also photographers and last week, after enjoying a long lunch together, we decided to undertake the dreaded head shot. I must admit, it was FUN! Amanda Zika of Dreaming Tree Photography is such a talented and amazing photographer. Thank you for your willingness and artistic flair in capturing a side of me I rarely see. You are truly a wonderful friend!

These past twenty-one years have been filled with many, many laughs, tears, fights and forgiveness. We have watched her blossom and grow into the godly young woman she is today. Here are just a few of the hundreds of images captured during these first twenty-one years.Continue Reading

Winter finally arrived in January!

If you live around St. Louis, you know what I’m talking about. We’ve had a very mild winter to-date. However, earlier this week, I woke to a beautiful and frosty scene out my back window.Continue Reading
